LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Democrats in the Missouri Senate have made a big issue of a new series of photos from a 2014 secret ballot vote on raising the minimum wage. Opposition to the minimum wage in the Senate has been fierce. The minimum wage debate will be put on hold on Monday after Senate Democrats took the floor, demanding the Republican majority give up the power to set a minimum wage. Senate Democrats say there is no reason to do so because Republicans were using an old survey to determine what the wage floor should be. But the measure is up for renewal in August. The new poll was released by two groups opposed to the wage hike. Sen. Paul Wathen’s had harsh words for Democrats, calling them “sore losers” and accusing them of playing “political games.” He says the minimum wage poll was nothing but an attempt to scare Missouri voters into thinking they would lose their jobs if the minimum wage were raised. “It has become quite obvious, we’re being used as a pawn in this political game,” Wathen said. Democrats say the minimum wage poll has to do with state spending in fiscal year 2014, when Gov. Jay Nixon tried to find funding to increase the wage floor to $10 an hour. A survey put the cost of the hike at $58 million, according to a May 24 letter from the Republican House Speaker to Nixon. A Republican House Finance Committee questioned whether spending should have been allowed. The Democrat-controlled Senate proposed raising the minimum wage to $9 an hour on July 1. It was defeated, but House leaders say it could come back again.Q: How to use change handler with jquery ajax I have the following html: link And the following javascript: $('a').click(function(){ var a = this; $.ajax({
